Are you a 2nd year taking NFS284 this year and wanting to get involved with the NSSA? The NSSA is holding elections for (2) second year reps! Come out to FG423 on October 21st at 5 pm for a chance to run. Interested candidates please email us at nssa.sa@utoronto.ca and prepare a short speech to deliver on election day.

Other NFS students can also come vote, meet our executive team, and learn about our upcoming initiatives!

Grad School Info Night

Thinking of graduate school but overwhelmed by the amount of information? The NSSA is hosting a Grad School Info Night to answer all of your questions!

We have Dr. Anthony Hanley, the graduate coordinator in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, coming to speak about admissions and awards. Graduate students in our department doing clinical, epidemiological, animal, and cell research will also be speaking about their personal experiences in grad school.

The seminar will take place on October 14th at 5pm in FG423 and will be followed by an opportunity to chat over refreshments. If there are any particular questions/topics you want covered, please email them to the NSSA at nssa.sa@utoronto.ca so that we can pass them along to the graduate student to prepare an answer for you on the day of the event.

We hope to see you all there!
