Foods for Health Recipe Contest

Are you an aspiring chef? Show off your creative cooking skills in NSSA’s Foods for Health Recipe Contest for a chance to win amazing prizes! We are looking for contestants that can ‘cook-up’ the most attractive, creative, and nutritious recipe involving oats.

Submitting an entry is super easy: just take a picture of your creation and email it to nssa.sa@utoronto.ca along with the recipe by April 4th (the deadline has been extended). Submit an entry of your favorite oat recipe for your chance to win!

Academic Seminar

Hey Everyone!

Ever wonder which hormones influence your appetite? Come join us on Monday November 25th from 4-5 pm in FG 423 to learn how testosterone is linked to our appetite. The academic seminar will be given by Alexander Schwartz and will focus on the role of testosterone during adolescence and obesity. As always, there will be free food so mark your calenders now!

Annual Student-Professor Luncheon

We invite all those who are taking any NFS course to attend our Annual Student-Professor Luncheon! Here you will have the opportunity to meet and network with the professors in the Nutrition Department in a  casual environment over lunch. This event gives students the chance to chat with the professors about their courses, research, life and more! So don’t miss this opportunity to pick the brains of our amazing professors, and create a personal relationship with them. This event will take place at Hart House Debates Room on November 4th from 12-3 pm.
